1. Service Overview
The Car Valeting Experts ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") provides professional mobile car valeting and detailing services across all of North Devon, including Bideford, Barnstaple, Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Westward Ho!, Braunton, and Croyde ("Services").
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our booking system, website, and all Services provided. By booking with us, you agree to these Terms in full.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings are made through our online system at thecarvaletingexperts.co.uk
- You must provide accurate vehicle information, location details, and contact information
- A booking confirmation email will be sent within 5 minutes of successful payment
- Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received in full or a deposit is paid
- We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion
3. Payment Terms
- Payment must be made in full or as a deposit during booking
- We accept Debit Cards, Credit Cards, and PayPal via Stripe
- All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable
- Payment is non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Additional charges may apply for travel outside our standard service area
4. Service Conditions
- Access Requirements: You must provide safe access to your vehicle and, where applicable, an outdoor tap and power socket
- Vehicle Condition: We assume no responsibility for pre-existing damage to your vehicle
- Weather: Services may be postponed or rescheduled in severe weather for safety reasons
- Parking: You are responsible for parking your vehicle in a safe, accessible location
- Personal Items: Remove all personal items from your vehicle before we arrive
5. Additional Service Charges
- Service Upgrades: If upon arrival we determine that your vehicle's condition requires a higher level of service than what was booked (e.g., a standard valet needing deep clean treatment due to excessive dirt, stains, or wear), additional charges will apply
- Examples: Standard exterior wash requiring extra detailing, interior valet requiring deep cleaning of seats/carpets, or paint condition requiring additional restoration work
- Notification: We will inform you of any additional charges before proceeding with the upgraded work
- Authorization: Work will only proceed upon your written or verbal approval of the additional charges
- Billing: Additional charges will be invoiced separately and must be paid before or on the date of service completion
6. Service Quality & Guarantee
- We use professional-grade products and trained technicians for all Services
- If you are unsatisfied with our work, contact us within 24 hours of service completion
- We will make reasonable efforts to correct any issues at no additional charge
- We do not guarantee removal of all stains, marks, or damage exceeding normal wear and tear
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any damage to your vehicle caused by pre-existing defects or poor maintenance
- We are not liable for theft, vandalism, or damage to items left inside your vehicle
- We are not liable for loss of use or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service
8. Insurance & Damage
- We carry professional indemnity insurance covering our Services
- Any damage caused directly by our negligence will be addressed through insurance
- You must report any damage within 48 hours of service completion with photographic evidence
9. Customer Responsibilities
- You must be the vehicle owner or have the owner's permission to book Services
- You are responsible for parking tickets, fines, or penalties incurred during our visit
- You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- You agree not to use our Services for any illegal or unethical purpose
11. Privacy & Data Protection
- We collect personal data (name, email, phone, vehicle details) for booking and service delivery only
- Your data is protected under UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
- We do not share your information with third parties without your consent
- You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us
